I know I seen those before. In fact, I would bet my life on it that those are similar to the runes that Jack has shown me from Egypt. I could be wrong on the last part, but I know I've seen something like these before.
I've been searching, but I haven't found any runic alphabet that corresponds to this script yet. There are aesthetic similarities, but there are only two which correspond to one, Elder Futhark. The fifth is a phonetic 'u', and the twenty fourth a 'r'. This may be barking up the wrong tree, though.
Hopefully this is a cipher for something like English and not a new language in and of itself.
I've also hit a dead-end for now. Maybe we're approaching this the wrong way. What if we need to decipher it ourselves. The first (I'm assuming) word is three letters. Let's look at the most common three letter words. Then we notice that the second rune repeats itself multiple times. It must be a common letter in the English alphabet. Possibly a vowel.
OK, progress for this one: Assuming that they use the same runes for the same letters, I have *er *ater erleie*et *eine **h*a*he. The *'s demote unknown letters.--Jack
Well, that isn't much to go on. You mentioned that there were pages of the runes. Post those, if you will.
ReplyDeleteAlso... Is that your arm? Did you do that?
Ill post them tomorrow if I can.
DeleteAnd yes thats my arm. I dont know if I did it.
